Knotty Coach Trust

Standard Gauge line in Staffordshire. NSR 23 (Accessible Brake Coach), NSR 228 (First class), NSR 127 (the "Manifold" coach) and NSR 61 (the "Tutbury" coach), All for the Knotty Coach Trust, formally the North Staffordshire Railway Rolling Stock Restoration Trust (aka the NSRRSRT).

George Elmy East Durham Heritage Group. Replicated the Seaham Lifeboat callout (shout) boards for their museum in the 1870's lifeboat house, which now houses the restored "George Elmy".
NELSAM Replica timber fairings for "Bristol Bloodhound Mark1" missile.
Private Owner Timber cab for a Sentinel Steam Waggon - further details to follow.
Willowford Farm 

Timber components for replica Shepherd Hut, intended as a snack bar. 

Bowes Railway Rope hauled colliery railway, dating from 1826, now run as a museum. Waggon rebuilds, required after arson attacks and other acts of mindless vandalism (*EHSI* for part 2011).

North of England Open Air Museum, extensive transport collections, and a lot of other things as well, settings dates are 1913 and 1825 - you will need at least a day to have a proper look around. (Don't forget to Gift Aid!). Currently developing new areas eg 1950s Town.
Locomotion National Railway Museum at Shildon. Headstocks and replica footplate. (*EHSI*).
Whitby Historic Lifeboat Trust The owners of the "William Riley", a restored pulling (rowing) lifeboat. We rebuilt the interior. Often used to raise funds for the RNLI.
Ffestiniog Railway Located in Porthmadog, North Wales. First Class refurbishment project, replica Pullman armchairs and low back observation chairs.
Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway 15 inch (minimum gauge) Railway in the Western Lake District, Owners of "Elmira" and "Maid of Kent" the two Pullman Holiday Coaches.
Ravenglass Railway Museum Part replica / part restoration of last remaing original 3ft guage vehicle - the 1877 "Big Saloon" as a "walk-through" exhibit.
Saltburn Cliff Lift Rebuilt and "Victorianised" the passenger cars. With a gradient of 1:1.7 this inclined tramway is steep. (Gauge is 4ft 2.5") The oldest operating water balance funicular. Run by Redcar & Cleveland Council, connecting the town with the North East's only remaining pleasure pier. Well worth the small fee......
South Tynedale Railway 2 foot gauge railway based in Alston, Cumbria. Volunteer run. Turned signalbox finials.
Tanfield Railway Volunteer operated railway, with an indusrtial background and long history, Host for the two NER cariage restorations.
Welsh Highland Heritage Railway Based in Porthmadog, with their works at Gelerts Farm. Carriages and interactive museum models.
Heritage Train Project site offline Buffet Car - restoration, Number 25 - replica Ashbury, and the 'Pickering Brake' is a near future dream, which still need some funding, for the WHHR.

EHSI

North East Civic Trust organise the Engineering Heritage Skills Initiative, and currently we have offered one placement per year since the first year of the scheme in 2011.  During 2012/13 we have had two additional, part-time trainees. The present postholder started with us in February 2014. The scheme finishes in March 2015 as the funding was not renewed.

Other placement providers (*EHSI* above) include Tanfield Railway, North East Maritime Trust,  Weardale Railway, Vintage Vehicles Museum Shildon (Closed). North York Moors Railway, Windermere Steamboat Museum, South Tynedale Railway at Alston. .
